Scollar Smart Collar tells you where your pet is
Caring for pets can be complicated, time-consuming and confusing. Each animal, just like our kids, has a different personality. Their needs change over time. Scollar was founded to make caring for our pets as easy as loving them.
Scollar Smart Collar tells you when to feed your pet

    Highlights

    • Track your pet’s current and past location. Vibration module for perimeter barriers and training. No monthly fees.
    • Want to make sure your pet had breakfast? Set up feeding times on the app. The smart collar notifies you when it’s feeding time. One tap dismisses the reminder, let’s other family members know your pet was fed.
    • Tired of that 3 am wakeup call because your pet is scratching? Set up flea and tick reminders so the smart collar alerts you to reapply before scratching happens.
    • Pets need medicine sometimes. The app guides you through entering the medicine, dosage and duration. The smart collar will do the rest.
More cool features:  Scollar is open platform, meaning you can add a module or connect a new app to easily handle all of your pet’s future needs.

Scollar Smart Collar for Small Dogs Now Available
Scollar adds small dogs to smart collar offerings

San Francisco, CA – November 22, 2016 – Scollar, a pet wearable company in Northern California, announces the Scollar smart collar for small dogs. Scollar offers the only smart collar platform that changes with the dynamic needs of the pet.

Created to fit both small dogs and cats, the Scollar smart collar is a sleek, easy to use, customizable pet wearable.

Features include an interactive display screen, GPS with Bluetooth for dog and cat tracking, reminders and notifications for feeding, flea and tick applications and other medication, night visibility, swappable batteries, a battery charging base and a fully integrated mobile app.

Samples available to select media around early March, 2017. Delivery to customers of Scollar in early Summer 2017.

Scollar CEO and Founder Lisa Tamayo says, “There is a huge gap in the market when it comes to smaller animals, which is why we made our first smart collars for small dogs and cats.”

Developed by an experienced team of designers and engineers, Scollar packs a wealth of technology into a small package.  Scollar has recently teamed up with Spanner Product Development, engineers of the Fitbit® wearables, to finalize development and prepare for production.

The only open hardware smart collar platform on the market invites partners to expand Scollar functionality for pet doors, feeders, training and behavior modules, as well as health monitoring, all of which will seamlessly integrate into the smart collar and mobile app.

Scollar includes a free pet training app available for iPhone and Android.

The Scollar app gives pet owners access to the best crowd-sourced dog and cat training videos. With the app, owners can track and share their pet’s training progress.

The launch of the Scollar smart collar for small dogs follows the September release of the Scollar smart collar for cats. The company is poised to become a market leader in the $60 billion pet product industry. The first Scollar smart collars for small dogs and cats will begin shipping in early Summer 2017.
