    Callaway uPro

callaway uproThis device is hard to beat. It’s intuitive interface does not require much of a usual manual to learn, but the most noteable feature is it’s satellite view of the entire hole called the FlyOver view. It also shows you the distance from any distance on the hole. SmartView mode enables quick, 3-click access to the most pertinent information about the current hole. The first view presents an aerial view of the entire hole. Click once and you’ll see the logical landing area. It’s basically the general area that the uPro thinks you should be hitting your ball to. Click again and you’ll see a zoomed view of the green. Click again and your back to the full hole view.

The size of the uPro is a bonus too. It’s like carrying an iPod around- slim and light, unlike its competitors. The uPro is a special blend of a rangefinder, golf GPS device, and some artificial intelligence thrown in the mix. ($399, www.callawaygolf.com)
