    Hoover Platinum Edition Cyclonic Upright

hoover_cyclonic_uprightPart of Hoover’s new high-end Platinum line, the Cyclonic Upright offers an embedded Dirtfinder that removes more dirt from the carpet than their cyclonic competition. The Dirtfinder light turns green once dirt has been removed from your carpet, and the advanced Multi-Cyclonic Filtration system allows you to continue to vacuum your floors with no loss of suction. LED controls reside in the handle, and the Integrated Lifetime Washable Filter reminder tells you when it is time to clean the filter. On board cleaning tools crevice tool, dusting brush, upholstry tool and extension wand.. All this and a best-in-class six year limited warranty.

I’m always skeptical of the performance of vacuums when I’m sent one. They usually test about the same. I’ll have to say the Hoover Cyclonic stands among the best I’ve used. Its suction is very impressive and the bells-and-whistles, namely the Dirt indicator, is actually useful.  Performance and a light and tight design make this new Hoover stand out.
