    Kevin Turner, COO of Microsoft, Announces Windows 7 To Europe in Oct, U.S. in Nov

    Microsoft’s COO Kevin Turner let go of an impending release date for Windows Phone 7, November.  Turner said, “in the October timeframe and the November timeframe, October likely across Europe and November likely across the U.S. we’re back in this game.”


    Prior to this announcement, the closest release date given by Microsoft was a three month window they were referring to as “the holiday season.”  Along with this release, we’ll see handsets from Dell, HTC, Samsung, LG, and ASUS being announced, all who have committed to the WP7 OS.
