    Panasonic Lumix G 12.5mm Interchangeable 3D Lens

Panasonic recently announcemented the LUMIX G 12.5mm 3D Lens 12.5mm (~$389), the world’s first interchangeable 3D lens (65mm effective). The promise of capturing 3D images with your existing camera is pretty cool.  Its functionality is pretty simple. The lens is essentially two lenses in one that create a stereo left and right image, which are later processed by Panasonic’s 3D image software.

The fact that it has a compact design and is compatible with the Lumix G-mount camera lineup make it all the more enticing to use.
