ODYSSEY UNVEILS NEW DIVINE LINE OF WOMEN’S PUTTERS

Extensive Research Leads to Models Ideally Suited for a Women’s Game
CARLSBAD, Calif., October 27, 2010 – Callaway Golf Company (NYSE: ELY) today announced the October 29 retail availability of the new Odyssey® Divine™ line of women’s putters. With softer aesthetics, ideal headweights and a new insert based on extensive feedback from women golfers, the #1 Putter in Golf ® developed the Divine line to sink more putts from anywhere on the green.

“Through our research, we’ve come to understand what women want in a putter in the areas of look, feel and styling,” said Austie Rollinson, Principal Designer for Odyssey. “We really focused on those attributes in designing this Divine line. It’s not just the finish, but also the feel that women prefer.”

After countless hours of research and product testing on the green, Odyssey designers developed the new Divine insert to provide a preferred feel and roll. The company that perfected putter inserts like White Hot™, White Hot XG™ and White Ice™ in recent years has created the Divine insert to be slightly softer feeling than White Ice and a bit firmer than White Hot XG. The insert was also designed to deliver a slightly louder sound. Feedback from women golfers regarding color and styling led to the Divine line’s white chrome finish for an elegant look that is sure to appeal to a wide spectrum of players.

The Divine line’s heavier putterheads provide optimum balance with enhanced feel and control. The 2-Ball model even boasts adjustable weighting, with three interchangeable options to dial in the perfect feel. Odyssey is the #1 Putter across the world’s major professional tours in wins, usage and top-10 finishes. The new Divine line of Odyssey putters will be available on October 29 and the new product introductory retail price is $129 for core models (Blade and Rossie) and $179 for progressive models (Mini T and 2-Ball).
