HP/Palm Suiting up for Topaz and Opal Tablets

—Blog Engadget got their hands on some rendered images of Palm’s (HP’s) latest tablets about to be introduced.  HP and Palm got together to build the Topaz webOS tablet, and someone working for them was kind enough to leak these images for the rest of the world.

Palm's Topaz is the 9-inch model, while a smaller, 7-inch tablet is pegged as the Opal

Topaz is the 9-inch model, while a smaller, 7-inch tablet is pegged as the Opal. They both feature a no-button design, they both have a front-facing camera, micro-USB port and a three-speaker layout that’s reminiscent of the Vizio tablet. Two speakers on the left side and one on the right, giving stereo audio in both landscape and portrait mode.

Both tablets should start shipping somewhere around September, with versions for WiFi only, 3G from AT&T, and Verizon LTE.
