    Hyperdrive iPad Hard Drive

The Hyperdrive iPad Hard Drive now has an economical version to accompany the tight economy at hand.

The new economical model goes for as little as $99.99.  But what you save in bucks you lose in features.  This new version is bare bones and lacks the fancy screen and controls that allowed you to navigate the drive’s contents sans iPad.  It also lacks a hard drive, though you can easily add one on your own or opt for a version that includes a storage array…for more money.  However, it can support up to a 1TB of drive with a 2.5-inch form factor.

Keep in mind you’ll need a camera connection kit to access the hard drive’s contents.  Once connected via USB  you can use the iPad’s touchscreen to navigate the Hyperdrive’s stored contents.
