Rumor: iPhone 5 will have 4-inch display

DigiTimes is reporting a rumor that a larger iPhone 5 model is in the works, a 4-inch display model to be specific.  The report cites component suppliers with their story, and we also know that earlier the Wall Street Journal reported that Apple is working on designs that will allow the iPhone’s screen to reach further toward the edges of the device.  So an iPhone 5 with a 15% larger screen is certainly not a pipe dream, and since many phone manufacturers have adopted the “bigger is better” design approach with plenty of the markets liking large screens, a big iPhone seems very logical.
