Leatherman Skeletool CX Multitool review (video)

Past iterations of the famed Leatherman tool had everything tucked away in that knife-size utensil except for the kitchen sink.  People have loved the Leatherman line for years, but some have complained that their yearly flagship model, you know the one that actually has a kitchen sink, is too bulky and contains too many tools that don’t get used. Hence the company slimmed down their next version of the handy tool and introduced the[amazon_link id=”B000XU43IC” target=”_blank” ] Leatherman 830850 Skeletool CX Multitool[/amazon_link].

Unlike previous versions of the device, this one is much more bare bones, but places an emphasis on a usable, reasonably sized knife – with its own locking mechanism – that can be accessed without opening it.   The five ounce tool also includes stainless steel handles with Carbon-fiber handle scale, a universal bit driver, pliers, wire cutter and a carabiner/bottle opener.  It’s also backed by the company’s famed 25-year warranty

Retail will run you about $96, but you can find the [amazon_link id=”B000XU43IC” target=”_blank” ]Leatherman Skeletool from Amazon[/amazon_link] for around $65.
