    Upcoming Motorola DROID Fighter

An image of what could be the unannounced DROID Fighter has published on PhoneHK, a Chinese forum. The handset is said to be equipped with the same whopping 3,300 mAh battery that is found in the RAZR MAXX, and a 4.6-inch high-definition display. The image of the phone also shows that the Android navigation buttons that appear on the RAZR model is no longer present, leading speculation that the Fighter will use the on-screen buttons found in Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Hopefully the Droid Fighter will see a boost in CPU performance as well.  Motorola has been sticking with Texas Instruments processors lately, so there’s a chance this could be one of the first phones with the new dual-core 1.8 GHz OMAP4470 that features the faster PowerVR SGX544 GPU.

Details surrounding the smartphone are limited, and it isn’t known if this will be a completely new device some iteration of the RAZR.  The Fighter is rumored to land on Verizon’s 4G LTE network on April 12th.
