Swingline Stack-and-Shred 250X Hands Free Shredder Review (video)

With the Swingline Stack-and-Shred 250X Hands Free Shredder, you now have the ability to auto-shred anything!  Place up to 250-sheets into the shredder, close the lid, and the work is done .  It’s perfect for small offices up to 5 people, and the 250X has near silent operation noise.

Able to shred 250-sheets at once into 3/16″ x 1 1/2″ security level-3 pieces, the Stack-and-Shred 250X can also handle paper clips and staples, plus credit cards and oversize/thick paper manually, and CDs in a separate slot.  It features a 4-digit pin lock to keep your materials secure when you’re not there to monitor, an auto jam clearance, and an 11-gallon pull-out bin.

You can save time and money with this puppy.  Stack sheets in the top tray, shut the lid and the Swingline™ Stack-and-Shred™ 250X will efficiently shreds up to 250 sheets automatically without you being there to feed each separate page. Switching to manual operation is required to shred credit cards, discs and up to 8 sheets of glossy paper.

Instead of hovering over your shredder, slowly feeding documents into the Stack-and-Shred, you just drop in a big stack, close the lid, and go about your business.  The Stack-and-Shred even un-jams itself, so you really can walk away while it works.

The 250x runs around $1,250.  Other models including the 60x, 80x, 100x and 500x are available.  Obviously the model number indicates the number of pages that each model can accommodate.  Check out Swingline’s website for further info and pricing.
