    Due to the increased demand for high definition content and the success of Toshiba`s  first generation units, Toshiba has decided to continue producing more innovative HD DVD Players. And recently, they have just announced the launch of their Second Generation HD DVD Players. Actually, they lunch two models: the HD-XA2 and the HD-A2 entry-level model. The two new models enjoy the same video and audio features of the first generation models and surpass them with some key enhancements. In fact, Toshiba aims to set the new standard in the high definition world. The new models provide a variety of advanced high resolution audio options and stunning HD image quality which offers a great value for superior quality seekers.

    Toshiba HD-XA2 HD DVD features

    • Output 1920 x 1080p, the highest HD signal currently available
    • High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI(TM)) 1.3, it is the most current and the new improvements really give deeper color experience.
    • A 297MHz / 12 bit Video DAC with high-quality
    •  for true playback of an HD picture to a video source, the new generation gives 4x oversampling for more advanced bandwidth
    • The new generation complements Toshiba’s new Cinema Series® Pro LCD TVs thanks to  the 1080p output capability
