The new Tablo is basically a dual-tuner DVR with streaming technology, and it allows you to stream up to six different devices at once, all using the same Tablo. The dual tuner means you can record two shows at once.
For the Tablo to operate, you’re going to need an HDTV-capable antenna and a USB hard drive, and the DVR service is $5 a month for a subscription, or $150 a month for a lifetime subscription. Finally, you’ll need an Apple TV, Chromecast or Roku to stream to your television.
