OtterBox Resurgence Power iPhone 5s Case

The new OtterBox Resurgence Power Case is in a class all its own.  There are two distinct features to Resurgence.  The first is it’s military-grade protection, which can handle a drop of around 10-feet without incident, no matter what part lands first. Additionally, it has an extender cable to reach all the way into the socket so existing headphone jacks can be used.

The second major feature is its battery capacity.  The 2000mAH is enough juice to charge the iPhone 5 two times over. To start charging, simply long press the LED front ring button.  Otterbox claims that the charging speed is faster than normal, and the battery auto-shuts itself off once the iPhone battery power has reached 100%.

Appearance-wise, it adds some girth to your device, but not a ton.  It also adds some additional comfort to your grip.  The colors the Resurgence comes in are pretty tight…satin rose, teal shimmer, glacier and black.  All of the hues give the polycarbonate material a polished look that stands out without being to obnoxious.

The OtterBox Resurgence Power Case runs $99.95.  Not the most incredibly inexpensive battery case around, but you get both battery-saving and protection features in one.  Additionally, it’s unique design and the amount of power that can quickly charge the iPhone 5 makes the Resurgence a keeper.
