    A new Kickstarter product just emerged called Pocket Jump, from a company called Viatek.  Essentially, the Power Jump is an emergency vehicle jump-starter and portable power bank, which allows you to charge a dead car battery and re-charge smart phones, tablets and other small electronics, all from a pocket-sized, re-usable device. It’s equipped with Smart Charge technology and can recharge devices like smart phones, tablets and gaming devices, while still retaining enough power to jump-start a vehicle – all from the security and convenience of the driver’s seat.  It will be available in red, blue, silver and black versions.

The Pocket Jump is also rechargeable and re-usable, ensuring safety and convenience for years to come.

    Pocket Jump is portable, fitting conveniently in a pocket, console or glove box, yet possesses enough power to jump-start a car. It’s durable and practical, yet sleek and stylish enough that consumers won’t want to leave home without it. It will be available in red, blue, silver and black versions.

    The Kickstarter is scheduled to launch September 19, 2014 with a goal of $100,000. Funds raised will go to fine-tuning form and function as well as moving the product into the important manufacturing phase. The product is scheduled to start shipping January 2015.
