    Skybell Version 2

    Skybell version 2.0 has improvements

Indigogo launched the highly-successful product campaign for Skybell last summer, pre-selling over $2 million worth of units. Now the company is shipping version 2.0.

    Skybell 2.0 is cloud based

    Skybell is Cloud-Based

Skybell replaces your doorbell with a Wi-Fi camera and intercom so that you can use your smartphone to see who’s at the door and even talk to them. The device contains a wireless video camera and a two-way radio that easily connects to your home’s Wi-Fi, so that when someone pushes the button to ring the doorbell, its cloud-based server will send your phone a push notification to initiate a session with one-way video. It works with Android 2.X or later and iOS 6.1 or later.

    Access Anywhere

The selling point with Skybell is that you never have to get up to see who is knocking at your front door. In fact, you don’t even have to be home to see who’s there.  And you can easily configure the device’s settings so that it will send out alerts to more than one smartphone if you want others to have access.

     Skybell has new version 2

    New Improvements

Skybell 2.0 now features a night-vision camera that has a 140-degree field of view. It also benefits from a faster Wi-Fi module and more memory for faster performance. It’ll also be able to support additional features in the future like a server recording and even a daily activity list. Lastly, besides a brushed-aluminum finish, it’s now also available in an oil-rubbed bronze finish.
