    HyperJuice GaN 100W USB-C Charger (with 2 USB-C & 2 USB-A Ports)

Nowadays, most of our gadgets are powered by internal rechargeable Li-Ion batteries. This includes items like our Smartphone, maybe even a second Smartphone for business people, as well as our tablets, laptops, Wireless Rechargeable Earbuds or Headphones, Smartwatches, etc. However, the more gadgets you have, the bigger the problem of charging them throughout each day, especially when it comes to charging all of those gadgets simultaneously. Nonetheless, there’s a really handy gadget out there that was developed to quickly fix that issue, and that’s none other than the HyperJuice GaN 100W USB-C Charger.

First of all, the HyperJuice GaN 100W USB-C Charger is the world’s first 100W GaN USB-C Charger. Basically, this brand-new and state-of-the-art HyperJuice Charger is based on the industry-leading Navitas GaNFast NV6117 Power IC to miniaturize components that are normally found in traditional chargers.

As such, the charger’s brand-new Gallium Nitride semiconductor material ultimately allows it to power devices that can operate at higher voltages and switching frequency, thus resulting in smaller and more efficient chargers.

However, if you think that that’s it (“just a new charging technology”), then think again. The HyperJuice GaN 100W USB-C Charger comes with even more quality of life features, as it is so much more than just your standard USB-C Charger. Not only does this USB-C Charger features two (x2) USB-C Output ports, but also features two (x2) more USB-A Output Ports.

That basically means that in an ideal scenario (having two compatible gadgets for each port type, meaning USB-C and USB-C A) users are able to charge up to four of their personal devices at once.

Lastly, it’s also worth to mention that after the company (HYPER) successfully raised over $3.3 million from over 40,000 backers in total on both its corresponding Kickstarter and Indiegogo Crowdfunding Campaigns, the company decided that it wouldn’t stop there, and as such, it now has its special HyperJuice Charger available for purchase on its online shop for pretty much anyone that’s interested in getting their hands on it.

Now, let’s take a more detailed look at the HyperJuice GaN 100W USB-C Charger and check everything that this ingenious charger has to offer.

    DESIGN & SPECS

Starting with the charger’s size, the entire unit is actually quite small, as it measures only 3.36 inches long by 2.39 inches wide by 1.14 tall (85.3 x 60.8 x 28.9mm), making it just as small as a credit card.

This makes it small enough for you to able to carry it with you at any time, whether that’s inside your pants’ pockets, inside a backpack pocket, a tote bag, etc.

Furthermore, this compact charger is also quite lightweight, weighing just a measly 7.34oz, or 0.46 lb (208g).

Additionally, the charger also comes equipped with built-in foldable wall plugs, which basically means that you won’t have to deal with any messy and/or bulky power cables like you commonly find on most standard USB-C Chargers that are available on the market.

Moreover, the charger is also quite versatile, as it will work literally on any country that you can think of, and that’s all thanks to its included travel-friendly pin converters, which allow users to reliably use the HyperJuice GaN 100W USB-C Charger all around EU, UK, and AU, as well as the US or anywhere else that you can think about.

The charger’s travel-friendly pin converters work in combination with its worldwide universal 100-240V voltage feature, which ultimately allows it to be used in virtually any country.

Putting it all together, you can see that the HyperJuice Charger was mainly designed to offer you the best possible quality of life, no matter where you decide to go next.

    POWER SPECS & CONNECTIVITY PORTS

Now, moving on to its connectivity ports. As mentioned before, the HyperJuice GaN 100W USB-C Charger comes equipped with two (x2) USB-C 3.0 Output ports (Max 100W) and two (x2) more USB-A 3.0 Output Ports (Max 18W).

As the charger features a very high and industry-leading power efficiency (around 95% of power efficiency), this makes it much better than most other USB-C Chargers that are currently available on the market, and that’s obviously thanks to its previously mentioned Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology, which is integrated into the charger’s GaN semiconductor material.

That same material is around 50% smaller than the power-conduction materials found in other USB-C Chargers. Furthermore, not only is the charger’s GaN semiconductor smaller than other chargers’ semiconductor materials, but also faster, as well as more efficient than traditional silicon materials that are commonly used in current standard USB-C Chargers.

All that makes the HyperJuice GaN 100W USB-C Charger so much more efficient than other chargers on the market when it comes to power transfers.

Now, back to the charger’s dual USB-C 3.0 and dual USB-A 3.0 Output Ports. Thanks to these four connection ports users can charge up to four of their own personal devices at once (assuming that they’ll actually have two compatible gadgets for each port type, that is).

For the charger’s two (x2) USB-C 3.0 Output Ports, (which feature a maximum power output of 100W), both its USB-C1 and USB-C2 Output ports feature a USB 3.0 Power Delivery that can go between 5~15V (at 3A) all the way up to a maximum of 20V (at 5A).

Then, for the charger’s two (x2) USB-A 3.0 Output Ports, (which feature a maximum power output of 18W), both its USB-A1 and USB-A2 Output ports feature a USB 3.0 Power Delivery that can work either at 5W, 10W, or 12W, and for those numbers the charger’s two (x2) USB-A ports will respectively work at 5V (at 3A), 9V (at 2A), and 12V (at 1.5A).

Specifically for the charger’s two (x2) USB-A 3.0 Output Ports, these also feature 18W Quick Charge 3.0, meaning that you can quickly charge your devices (faster than with normal chargers) if your gadgets do support that feature.

Lastly, the charger itself features a AC Power Input that can go between 100V to 240V (50/60Hz at 2.4A).

    OTHER NOTABLE FEATURES

    Safety Protection

It’s also worth to mention that the HyperJuice GaN 100W USB-C Charger also comes packed with a couple of safety protection features, including: Over-current, Over-voltage, Over-temperature, and Short-circuit protection.

This is a very welcomed addition to all of its already mentioned features, as these safety protection capabilities ultimately give users peace-of-mind whenever they leave the charger recharging their devices completely unattended.

This obviously makes the HyperJuice Charger so much better than most standard USB-C Chargers on the market,

    FINAL THOUGHTS
