Sonic Soak Ultrasonic Cleaning Tool – Effectively Cleans Produce & Small EDC Items

Whether you’re looking to clean the remaining dirt in produce like fruits and vegetables or to clean accumulated dust and debris within your EDC (everyday carry) Items, you should know that that task might actually turn out to be a little bit harder than what you might original think. That’s mainly because a simple hand scrub, no matter how much effort you put into it, will never allow you effecitevely clean every bit of dirt, dust, and debris at a microscopic level, and as such, you’ll never be able to get a complete and 100%-effective clean of your produce or items. That is… unless you have something like the Sonic Soak!

The Sonic Soak is a compact and ultra-portable ultrasonic cleaning tool that works via Ultrasonic Technology, ultimately allowing this device to generate modulated ultrasonic waves that travel through the water to clean at the microscopic level.

    HOW DOES IT WORK?

Now, you might be wondering just how effective this small device is and just how well it actually works when it comes to cleaning produce or any of your EDC Items. That said, I’m very thrilled to tell you that this ultrasonic cleaning tool does not disappoint.

So, the whole premise of ultrasonic cleaners is that these small devices rely on the use of tiny, yet powerful underwater vibrations, which basically work in a very similar way to electric toothbrushes. Those same underwater vibrations are exactly what allow these ultrasonic cleaning devices to effectively rinse out small particles (like dirt, dust, and small debris) and ultimately clean off produce or any objects with small crevices, such as your EDC Items for example.

Ultimately, ultrasonic cleaners are meant to be used as a better replacement to hand-scrubbing, which, in fact, is not as effective on cleaning your produce or EDC Items as these devices are.

Not only that, but I should also point out that the modulated ultrasonic waves that are generated by the Sonic Soak are actually so powerful that they not only allow this ultrasonic cleaning device to effectively clean off particles, but also to eliminate certain types of bacteria through those same ultrasonic vibrations (more on that just ahead).

    HOW WAS THIS DEVICE DEVELOPED?

So, for those curious to know, this device originated from a very, VERY successful Indiegogo Crowdfunding Campaign, which in fact raised the company behind this ultrasonic cleaning device a hefty sum of just slightly over $3 million.

Thanks to that, the company was able to successfully release the Sonic Soak onto the public consumers market, and as such, the Sonic Soak can be found for sale online directly on their website.

Now, let’s have a more detailed look at the Sonic Soak and check out what this ultrasonic cleaning device can really do.

    DESIGN & SPECS

Starting with the device’s size, the Sonic Soak features a very sleek design, with the device coming at a very compact size, with the device measuring just 1.38 inches in diameter and around 4.13 inches in length. Additionally, the main device is also fairly lightweight, which ultimately makes this ultrasonic cleaning tool ultra-portable and travel-friendly.

The Sonic Soak’s main unit (meaning the part responsible for creating the water vibrations) features a very solid construction, as its main unit is entirely built of aluminum, making it totally waterproof.

Now, note that this ultrasonic cleaning tool is electric-powered, being powered by a AC Power Adapter that comes directly connected to the main device. I’d like to mention that you can get your Sonic Soak in one of two (x2) different voltage output variations, just to ensure that you can use the device in different countries.

As such, you can get a 100-120V variation (for USA, Canada, Japan, Taiwan), or alternatively, you can get yourself a 200-240V varition (for the UK, AU, NZ, and most other European countries, as well as for the Philippines).

For the device’s operation method, as mentioned before, this ultrasonic cleaning tool works via a unique Ultrasonic Technology, which is exactly what allows the Sonic Soa to generate its modulated ultrasonic waves that will be traveling through the water to clean your items of choice (produce like fruits and vegetables or EDC items) at the microscopic level.

That said, this ultrasonic cleaning device can generate up to 50,000 vibrations per second. Moreover, and as mentioned before, the device’s generated modulated ultrasonic waves are powerful enough to not only allow this ultrasonic cleaning device to effectively clean off any unwanted particles (like dust, dirt, and debris), but also to eliminate certain types of bacteria through those same ultrasonic vibrations.

In other words, the Sonic Soak can offer you a very efficient cleaning, as this ultrasonic cleaning device can ultimately eliminate up to 99.9% of different types of bacteria that might potentially be present in the items that you’re looking to clean with it, whether that’s produce like fruits and vegetables or even EDC items. That ultimately makes it one of the most efficient ultrasonic cleaning tools on the market, if not the most efficient model that’s currently available.

Nevertheless, despite the device’s capability of generating up to 50,000 vibrations per second, those same generated modulated ultrasonic waves are still super gentle when traveling underwater against your EDC Items, which also makes this ultrasonic cleaning device perfect for cleaning any delicate items that you might have.

Not only that, but while this device works based on its powerful and unique Ultrasonic Technology, the unit can still clean at a reasonably quiet noise level, meaning that you won’t really experience any loud noise during its operation. So, while I wouldn’t say that this ultrasonic cleaning tool is completely silent, during its operation you’ll only hear something like a background white-noise, which would be somewhat close to a whisper-quiet zapping sound.

Last but not least, I’d also like mention that this ultrasonic cleaning tool features a eco-friendly-focused operation, as in comparison to other ultrasonic cleaning tools on the market, the Sonic Soak doesn’t require a lot of water within your used water-container in order to be effective, and that ultimately allows this ultrasonic cleaning device to use around 40x less water and up to 15x less energy than other ultrasonic cleaning gadgets.

    INTERFACE / CONTROL PANEL

Additionally, the unit’s AC Power Adapter also comes equipped with a very simple built-in Display and Touchscreen Strip that works as the main device’s Control Panel (for its opeartion settings).

To put it very simply, starting right at the very top of its AC Power Adapter’s Interface, we have a built-in Display that shows exactly at what power-settings the unit is working at to generate its momodulated ultrasonic waves

Then, just below that, going from left to right, we have a Power On Button, a Vibration-Speed Setting Button (which can be used to swap between 3 different vibration speeds – depending on how dirty the object you’re trying to clean is), and a Power Off button.

    CLEANING EFFECTIVENESS

Speaking from personal experience, I can say that I’m quite pleased with how well this ultrasonic cleaning device was able to clean the few different objects that I wanted cleaned with it.

Starting simple with just a carrot and a potato, we can clearly see that most of our produce’s groves, nooks, and crevices were almost dirt-free just after a few minutes of sitting inside a water-container together with the device.

Additionally, you can also notice that the strap in the Smart Watch below was somewhat dirty, for which I thought that it could also use a bit of cleaning.

So, after leaving it underwater alongside the Sonic Soak working for just a few minutes, as well as with a few drops of soap added to the mix, you can see that the end result was quite satisfactory, as the Smart Watch’s strap came clean, almost looking as if it was brand-new once again.

    FINAL THOUGHTS
