The Max 2’s frames are nearly identical to their predecessors, featuring the same shape with a set of large, flat lenses on the front. The most noticeable change in their design is their color, for which the Max 2 come in a Dark Gray color that gives them a far more discreet look than the metallic blue tone of the original Rokid Max glasses.

Moving on to the glasses’ main components. For delivering their virtual screen experience, the glasses’ lenses come equipped with a set of advanced Sony Micro OLED display panels, which enables them to create a 215-inch virtual display (at a 19-foot / 6-meter distance) in a 1080p FHD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels RGB) per eye with a 50° wide field of view, a sRGB 106% color gamut, 100,000:1 contrast ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The glasses’s Micro OLED displays also offer adjustable brightness up to 600 nits, which helps ensure sharp, clear visuals anywhere.
In comparison to the original Rokid Max model, the Max 2’s Micro OLED display panels have also been optimized to deliver an improved widescreen definition even on the edge of the picture/video, thus eliminating image blurring, as well as increased clarity levels to ultimately achieve a premium visual experience at all times.
All that makes the Rokid Max 2 capable of delivering immersive, ultra-smooth visuals with rich and brilliant colors, allowing for a vivid, lifelike imagery, no matter if you’re watching movies, browsing photos, playing games, or even working on their giant 215″ virtual screen.

While these AR glasses are best worn indoors in moderate lighting environments, they also come with a blackout cover that can be clipped over the front of the glasses to block out outside light from coming through their lenses.
The glasses are also rated to be TÜV Rheinland Certified for eye comfort and low blue-light, meaning they offer flicker-free visuals without causing eye fatigue.
What’s more is that for users with myopia, the glasses also feature built-in focus dials (located on the upper left and right corners) that offer real-time myopia adjustments without requiring prescription lens inserts, supporting up to 600 degrees of myopia (i.e. myopia adjustments from 0.00 to -6.00 d).

Keep in mind that users with myopia greater than 600° will need to purchase separate prescription lenses.
Lastly, the glasses also integrate built-in dual near-ear directional speakers on the inside of their temples, which provide Hi-Fi high-quality audio, offering great sound quality, although but there could be a little more bass to them.

They also feature a set of high-performance noise-cancelling microphones that provide voice capture with decent clarity and offer up to 45dB noise reduction for blocking out environmental noises from your surroundings.
