Wacom has recently launched its new lineup of Wacom Cintiq pen display tablets. The company’s new product line features three brand-new models, including the Cintiq 16, Cintiq 24, and Cintiq 24 Touch.
Designed to deliver professional-grade performance for artists and designers of all backgrounds, these next-generation pen display tablets combine Wacom’s Pro Pen 3 technology with a slimmer design, and sharp, more powerful displays built for creative work, making them the ideal solution for creators who are ready to take their work to the next level.
According to Wacom’s Senior Vice President, Koji Yano, the company’s new Cintiq line isn’t just a tool, but a spark that turns “what if” into “what’s next.”
Below is a more detailed breakdown of the unique features each of Wacom’s new Cintiq pen display tablets have to offer.
Wacom Cintiq Pen Display Tablets Lineup
Display Sizes
Wacom’s new Cintiq lineup is available in two sizing options, including the A4-sized Wacom Cintiq 16 with a 16-inch display and the A3-sized Cintiq 24 with a 24-inch screen (slightly larger than its 22-inch predecessor), both of which are pen-only models.

For those who want extra functionalities, there’s the Cintiq 24 Touch (also has a 24-inch display), a pen-and-touch model that supports multi-finger gestures for zooming, scrolling, and rotating the display—a feature that Wacom had previously restricted for its professional-grade products not so long ago.
Modern Design & Quiet Performance
The most noticeable update to Wacom’s new lineup of Cintiq pen display tablets to their design. The devices feature a sleek design with a clean, modern profile that supports versatile working angles and a flat surface with a narrow bezel.
Both sizing options are also slimmer than their predecessors. The Cintiq 16 has been slimmed down from 25mm to 15mm, while the larger Cintiq 24 and 24 Touch models have nearly half the thickness of the previous 22″ model, sitting at just 21mm, making them easier to fit into a variety of workspaces.
All three models also feature a fanless design, which ensures a quiet operation, helping users stay focused during their creative sessions without their device overheating.
Adjustable Stand and Flexible Setup
The Cintiq 24 and 24 Touch also come with the Wacom Adjustable Stand included, which allows for smooth, quiet angle adjustments.
The Cintiq 16 on the other hand comes equipped with fold-out legs and is compatible with the optional stand (sold separately).
Both models are VESA-compatible (75 x 75 mm) for use with third-party monitor arms.
Display Quality & Included Software
Wacom’s new Cintiq pen display tablets also had their screen resolution enhanced with a 2.5K resolution display, which is approximately 1.8 times greater than Full HD, delivering rich, true-to-life color.

More specifically, the Cintiq 16 features 2560 x 1600 resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio, while the Cintiq 24 and 24 Touch feature 2560 x 1440 resolution with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
All models also come with time-limited licenses for creative software, including Clip Studio Paint EX and MASV.
Wacom Pro Pen 3
The Wacom Cintiq 16, Cintiq 24, and Cintiq 24 Touch all come with the company’s industry-leading Wacom Pro Pen 3, featuring an improved IC chip that has been upgraded from the Pro Pen 2 with the aim of the new version delivering a delicate, precise, and natural drawing feel.

The Pro Pen 3 also features a battery-free design, meaning you can dive in and start creating without worrying about it running out of power, which is the case with many display pen tablets from competing brands.
All three Wacom Cintiq models also feature direct bonding near-zero parallax, which essentially minimizes the gap between the pen tip and the cursor.
In addition, they also feature anti-glare etched glass, which reduces reflections, minimizes eye fatigue, and provides a comfortable friction, offering a natural, paper-like drawing experience.
Utilizing the Wacom Pro Pen 3, the new Cintiq models provide responsive, precise pen strokes thanks to enhanced sampling rate and pressure sensitivity. Thanks to that, artists are can experience fluid lines closely following movement as well as improved control, allowing them to better express their creative vision.
Users can also purchase interchangeable pen nibs with varied textures, adjustable balance weights, and even custom side-switches, allowing them to customize the pen’s grip thickness, weight balance, and button layout for extra comfort during long sessions.
Another optional accessory is the Wacom Pro Pen 3 Wood Grip (sold separately), which stands out with its warm, textured finish—offering a more natural feel in the hand for those who prefer an organic touch during long drawing sessions.
Multi-port Connectivity
Wacom has also dropped the 3-in-1 cables from the previous lineup, with the new Cintiq 16, 24, and 24 Touch now featuring USB-C, HDMI, and USB-A ports neatly integrated on the back of the device for simplified cable management.
The 16-inch model also supports a convenient single-cable setup with power delivery, allowing it to be connected to a computer via a single USB-C cable.
