Altek Leo Is A Camera With An Android OS

Altek’s new Leo is a 14MP digital camera running Android 2.1. Or is it just a camera-enabled smartphone? Well, it certainly looks like a camera, and its lens is drastically better than most smartphones. Though it can make calls, the biggest benefit of running Android is the ability to instantly upload your high quality photos to online sites like Flickr, but you’ll also get all the other OS benefits.

The Altek Leo arrives in Asia at the end of this year for around $499. No word yet on a US release date.
