3M Combines the Projector and the Camcorder to create the CP45

In the latest gadget news, 3M just announced their new [amazon_link id=”B005LESQLA” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]3M CP45[/amazon_link] Pico Projector Camcorder combo.   It combines a pico projector with a digital camcorder.

This little handheld beauty takes 5-megapixal images and 1280 x 720p HD video recording.  It also has a fixed focus lens, LED flash and a 2.4-inch LCD display.

With an HD camcorder and a projector, you’re getting two new gadgets in one.  It contains 2GB of built-in memory, and can be added onto with the included microSD card slot.  In addition to a 2.4-inch LCD screen, it can project an 800×600 image, ranging from 10-inch to 65-inches in size on any surface, with a brightness of 20 lumens.

Perfect for showing off pics or video, it’s bright enough for any medium-lit room.  The rechargeable battery is included, and gives you about 100-minutes of use on a single charge.

Pico projectors are something that seem to go extremely well together with camcorders.  Since the [amazon_link id=”B005LESQKG” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]3M CP45[/amazon_link] was designed to be easily toted, it’s a bonus that it houses two major media functions in one.

The CP45 has a built-in microphone and speakers. It includes built-in media playback capability supporting JPEG, MP3, MPEG4/MP4 files.

The 3M CP45 is available now, in red and black accents, for $299, and you can get it at [amazon_link id=”B005LESQKG” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Amazon[/amazon_link].
