Sure Petcare SureFlap Microchip Pet Door Connect Review

Sure Petcare has introduced the world’s first app-connected pet door, which is the perfect solution to help pet owners protect their household and pets from the outside dangers. The Sure Petcare SureFlap Microchip Pet Door Connect is an intelligent pet door that offers owners the ability to provide freedom and security for their pets, as well as understand their daily behavior throughout each day.

The Sure Petcare SureFlap Microchip Pet Door Connect was designed for large cats and small dogs. Just like the SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder, pet owners can link the SureFlap Microchip Pet Door to their  pets existing microchip or the included RFID collar tag, and subsequently, to the Sure Petcare app via the Sure Petcare Hub (sold separately), which is connected to your home router.  From the Sure Petcare app, owners can remotely lock or unlock the pet door anytime, anywhere. They can also know whether their pets are at home, monitor long-term activity and notice changes in behavior. The Sure Petcare app will also alert the owners, sending them notifications whenever their pets enter and leave their home.

By remotely locking the door, owners help protect their beloved pets and household, while also preventing intruding animals from entering their home. After understanding their pet’s behavior, owners can also create a curfew, by setting the door to lock and unlock at specified times or take control of the configured locking schedule at any time by using the Sure Petcare app. Owners also have the ability to share app access with friends and manage their permissions. The Sure Petcare SureFlap Microchip Pet Door Connect is battery powered, offering up to 6 months of battery life (4 x C cell batteries not included). The selective entry feature works with the microchip reader, which is located on the exterior of the pet door.

With the Sure Petcare SureFlap Microchip Pet Door, whether owners are at home or away, they can relax in the knowledge that their pets have the freedom and security they deserve. Without the Hub, you cannot link the Pet Door Connect to the Sure Petcare App. If you already have a Hub, you can purchase the Pet Door Connect on its own. If you’re interested in getting your own SureFlap Microchip Pet Door Connect together with the Sure Petcare Hub, they can be sold together, costing $309 (saves you $59). However, if you already have a Hub, you can purchase the SureFlap Microchip Pet Door Connect on its own, priced at $249. You can find both solutions on Sure Petcare’s website, by clicking Here.
