Mantel Mount MM860 Motorized Drop-Down and Swivel TV Mount – Change The Way You Watch TV

One of the main advantages of a flat-panel television’s lightweight and thin depth is the ability to mount it directly on a wall in your home. While all flat-panel TVs come with pedestals that allow them to be placed on a TV stand, wall-mounting a TV can save you space and improve the aesthetics of a room. This brings us to the Mantel Mount MM860 Motorized Drop-Down and Swivel TV Mount. Back in May 2015, tech. startup MantelMount started changing the way people watched TV. Here’s what makes MantelMount TV Mounts so unique:

MantelMounts patented construction combines high-quality automotive pistons with lightweight alloys and state-of-the-art counterbalance technology, allowing virtually anyone to easily pull a large flat screen TV down off the wall, suspend it at eye-level in front of the fireplace, and swivel it left or right.

Virtually no other solutions are available in the marketplace that address the concerns of an above-the-fireplace flat screen television to provide eye-level viewing and glare reduction while also hiding all the hardware associated with your flat screen television.

With this in mind, startup company MantelMount decided to fill a void within the TV industry: an easy to swivel mount that also contains heat sensing technology.

The Mantel Mount MM860 Motorized Drop-Down and Swivel TV Mount is a motorized mount for high on the wall installations such as over a fireplace, while also offering comfortable eye-level viewing.

It supports any TV’s with a size that ranges between 55 inches to 100 inches, featuring a maximum recommended weight capacity of 125 lbs (30-130 lbs). The Mantel Mount MM860 TV Mount is made of heavy duty steel (3-5.5mm) and can swivel 25 degrees to the left and right, as well as proving capable of offering a vertical drop that goes up to 30 degrees. The mounting pattern features VESA Compatibility (standard adopted by all important television manufacturers) from 200mm x 200mm to 600mm x 600mm and is capable of providing an off-the-wall-distance between 20.5 inches to 24 inches.

The MM860 Motorized Drop-Down and Swivel TV Mount features Simultaneous Drop & Swivel – its featured Patented Multi-Axis hub, proprietary software and precision electronic actuators lower and swivel the TV in one quick fluid motion. This TV Mount operates silently, all thanks to its two built-in custom electronic actuators, which provide a smooth and barely audible movement.

The TV Mount’s movement can be controlled with the included 433 MHZ RF remote, with IR-based Logitech Harmony remotes or with popular home automation systems. The MM860 Motorized Drop-Down and Swivel TV Mount supports some home automation options, working with Control4, URC, RTI, Crestron, Savant and Logitech, while also offering command sets for hard-coding additional systems.

The MM860 TV Mount allows for Post-Installation Leveling, meaning it allows for screen position refinement after the mount is installed. The Mount also features recessible housing, which conceals the lifting arm and electronics in its raised position, and can also be recessed for flush-to-wall installations.

The MM860 TV Mount comes equipped with a Temperature-Sensing Monitor, which forces the TV to automatically retract to its home position whenever an unsafe temperature is detected. The mount also comes with integrated Power Sensing Technology, which makes it capable of detecting when the TV is turned on, automatically lowering it to a favorite preset. This ultimately provides automation, even without a control system.

The MM860 TV Mount offers Plug & Play Networking, meaning it’s DHCP enabled right out of the box, which makes it easily identifiable on your home network. It also comes with an On-Board Web Server, offering users a simple browser-based configuration. Users can easily download the latest software and firmware updates from the internet directly to the control module.

This TV mount also features Soft & Hard Travel Stops – both vertical and horizontal travel limits are configured through software and hardware, providing a virtual safety shield that prevents the TV from touching the wall or mantel. This ultimately ensures that your TV is protected from bumping into the wall and suffering any type of damage.

The Mantel Mount MM860 Motorized Drop-Down and Swivel TV Mount is packed with features. It’s incredibly easy to setup, supports many different TV sizes, its software can be easily configured straight out of the box, and is capable of protecting your TV from both high-temperatures and wall bumps when the motors move your TV. The fully automated MM860 Pro Series TV Mount is second to none.
