ChefWave Milkmade Non-Dairy Milk Maker – Plant-Based Milk Maker

The main reason why plant-based milks are seen as a better choice than cow’s milk has mainly to do with the environment, as plant-based products are much less harmful to the environment than animal-based products. Because of that, many people prefer vegan milk as an alternative to dairy-based milk, as that ultimately allows them to reduce their carbon footprint. Now, while you might think that preparing your own plant-based non-dairy milk at home can take you both a whole lot of work and time, that only goes for the “now-outdated” traditional milk-making method, as there’s a brand-new kitchen appliance on the market that’s designed to make the whole process quick and easy. Meet the ChefWave Milkmade.

The ChefWave Milkmade is a non-dairy milk maker that’s very easy to operate, featuring a digital touch-pad for its controls with 6 preset milk-making programs, and there’s also an Auto-Clean Function that eliminates the work from cleaning the unit.

The Milkmade’s 6 preset milk-making programs include Almond, Macadamia, Soy, Oat, Cashew, and Coconut. With just a small handful of nuts, this sleek non-dairy milk maker can quickly produce a pitcher of non-dairy milk in just 15 minutes, all at the simple touch of a button.

Best of all, this non-dairy milk maker requires no prep work before using it, meaning that there is no need to pre-soak your nuts/beans of choice overnight, and as such, there’s also absolutely no need for a nut milk bag.

With it, vegan lovers can very easily create their own fresh and delicious plant-based non-dairy milk right from the comfort of their home.

Now, let’s have a more detailed look at this awesome non-dairy milk maker and check out everything that the ChefWave Milkmade has to offer you.

    DESIGN & SPECS

Starting with the ChefWave Milkmade’s size, this non-dairy milk maker comes at a fairly compact size, measuring just 13.6 inches long by 6.5 inches wide by 12.8 inches tall, while still having some weight to it that helps the unit to stay perfectly in place while grinding your nuts of choice to prepare your plant-based milk. That said, the unit weighs exactly 11.7 lb.

The unit also features a very sleek and minimalist design that allows it to easily blend in with the rest of your kitchen decor and your other kitchen appliances. Additionally, the Milkmade also features a very solid construction.

Right at the back of the unit, we have a Main Water Tank / Reservoir, which is responsible for storing the water that will be used in the ChefWave Milkmade’s plant-based milk-making process, featuring 3 different Water-Markings (a lower Water-Mark for Auto Cleaning, a 10 fl.oz. Water-Mark for a small milk-making program, and a 20 fl.oz. Water-Mark for a milk-making program of a larger amount).

Then, right at the front of the unit, we also have its included Glass Pitcher, which comes with a nice and durable Lid. The milk maker’s included glass pitcher works as a great storage solution for your plant-based milk of choice, thus making it easy for you to store it inside of your refrigerator so that you can ultimately keep your home-made non-dairy milk fresh at all times.

In addition to that, integrated just right behind the milk maker’s Glass Pitcher and sitting right at the center of the unit, we also have a small Wastewater Tank / Reservoir, which is used to collect the leftover water that’s used to wash-up the milk maker’s Grinding Compartment (where your choice of nuts are shredded to make your plant-based milk) during its Auto-Clean function.

Lastly, right at the top of the unit, we also have the milk maker’s Grinding Compartment, which is where users will be dropping a small handful of nuts to have the ChefWave Milkmade preparing their plant-based milk of choice. Within its Grinding Compartment, we have a 4-Blade Shredder, which is in fact very efficient at grinding out just about any type of nut.

As mentioned before, with just a small handful of nuts of your choice, this sleek non-dairy milk maker can quickly produce a pitcher of plant-based non-dairy milk in just 15 minutes, all at the simple touch of a button. You can use either raw or roasted nuts, and you can choose to make between almond milk, soy milk, cashew milk, oat milk, macadamia milk or coconut milk.

Now, keep in mind that this milk-making kitchen appliance is electric powered. That said, the Milkmade features 1000W of Power and operates at 120V and at a 60Hz Frequency.

    INTERFACE & MILK-MAKING PROGRAMS

As mentioned before, this non-dairy milk maker comes equipped with a built-in digital touch-pad that works as the unit’s main interface, which is where all of its controls can be found.

That said, right at the bottom side of the unit’s digital touch-pad, going from left to right, we have a Auto-Clean Function Button, a Volume Button (which can be used to select one of two different batch sizes – 10 fl. oz. or 20 fl. oz. – directly related to the unit’s Main Water Tank’s Capacity), a Select Button (used to select between the milk maker’s 6 preset milk-making programs – Almond, Macadamia, Soy, Oat, Cashew, and Coconut), and a Start / Stop Button (used to start and stop the unit’s milk-making cycle).

I’d also like to mention that for the milk maker’s 6 preset milk-making programs, users can choose to have any of those milk alternatives coming either in the form of hot or cold milk.

In addition to that, just above these four buttons, we also have a set of 6 LED Lights that show you which type of plant-based milk-making program you have selected (Almond, Macadamia, Soy, Oat, Cashew, and Coconut), and above that, there’s also a larger LED Panel that informs users about which batch size is currently selected for their milk-making program (10 fl. oz. or 20 fl. oz.).

Last but not least, sitting at the very top-right of the milk maker’s built-in digital touch-pad, we also have a Delay Start Button, which basically works as the unit’s Delayed-Start Function so that your milk is created fresh on your own schedule.

    MAINTENANCE / CLEANING

As said earlier, this amazing non-dairy milk maker also boasts an Auto-Clean Function that eliminates the work from cleaning the unit.

Thanks to that, the milk-maker is capable of automatically self-cleaning its dedicated Grinding Compartment with a quick washing cycle, for which that same “dirty-water” is then collected by the unit’s Wastewater Tank / Reservoir.

    WHAT’S IN THE BOX?

Inside each package, users will find: their ChefWave Milkmade Non-Dairy Milk Maker (along with the unit’s Main Water Tank and Wastewater Tank), and also the milk maker’s included Glass Pitcher (with Lid).
