    FireFox 4- Exciting Upgrades

    Director of Firefox for the Mozilla Corporation, Mike Beltzner, posted a slide show presentation to the Mozilla community detailing what may be in store for Firefox 4 next generation browser.

    The slideshow keys in on three themes: speed, power, and control. Speed and power represent the Mozilla team’s mission to have the strongest possible code base, leveraging the latest web standards and technologies. It’s control initiative is where Firefox 4 will get most of its user interface themes and refinements.

    FireFox 4-Exciting Upgrades

    Potential  improvements include: enhancements to the Awesome Bar, a revamped extensions manager, site-specific preferences, and a tighter navigation/tab experience. Beta builds of Firefox 4 should start appearing in June or July, with a final release potentially slated for October.
