Pro Bell’O PR-12 Home Theater Cabinet

The Pro Bell’O PR-12 is one of two of the latest home theater cabinets recently released by the company.  Noticably different, the unit comes completely assembled when shipped, making an installer’s job quite easy.  Bell’O’s new PR-11 and PR-12 are the latest introductions to the company’s Pro Bell’O pre-assembled furniture line, and they are designed to instantly provide clients with a furniture product that complements their home.

The two furniture pieces are designed to accommodate a variety of HDTVs and other electronics components, and they incorporate cable routing channels to enable installers to hide cabling runs. Bell’O offers the PR-12 in a brown trim with glass accents, and the PR-11 has an expresso finish.  Both pieces carry an MSRP of $999.

Bell’O International was kind enough to send me a PR-12, and as easy as it can possibly be, the unit exits the box and is immediately ready to be placed in a room.  No assembly required!  You begin to appreciate the quality of this cabinet. It’s steller crafted hardwood is very solid, and it’s covered with a hand rubbed Deep European Brown veneer finish, and a thick tempered safety glass top that floats above the cabinet. The dark tinted tempered safety glass doors with adjustable interior shelves will hide up to 6 or more audio/video components, and it’s designed to allow you to still use the remote control through the glass.

The fabric covered center section will hide a center channel speaker and offers storage or room for additional components. Rear panels are removable for simple installation and component access, and an integrated CMS® Cable Management System contains interior and rear slots to hide and route wires and interconnect cables, and to provide proper air circulation.

Bell’O recognizes the advantages of providing consumers with pre-assembled furniture.  Usually those that want to design a home theater for their home either have hours and hours of construction and assembly for cabinet components, or consumers pay through the nose to companies that specialize in the design and construction of home theaters.  With the PR-12 (and PR-11), you get an extremely elegant cabinet shipped ready-to-go. And the details that Bell’O International incorporates into their cabinets is more than just bells and whistles.  From the extremely sturdy construction, to the elegant veneer finish, to the esthetically pleasing tempered glass, the PR-12 is fitting for the most sophisticated of rooms. The adjustable shelves, Bell’O’s CMS System and the fact that you can operate a remote through the glass….are just further evidence that this company knows its stuff, and really believes in producing well thought-out products that consumers would love.

I highly recommend the Pro Bell’O PR-12, as the company has left no stone unturned with the design, function and ease-of-use of this product.  The Pro Bell’O PR-12 can be used as a stand-alone cabinet to display most televisions up to 65″ or 175 lbs, or it can be used in conjunction with other cabinet pieces.  As stated, it retails for $999.99.
