Kaleidescape 100-disc Blu-ray movie server
-Kaleidescape has launched the industry’s first Blu-ray server with the ability to store and play 100-disc Blu-ray discs in its vault. It runs a salty $1,495.
The Kaleidescape server needs to be connected to one of Kaleidescape’s players, and the discs have to remain in the vault for the player to stream their ripped copies over the network. It can load Blue-rays fast and offer easy browsing with cover art and title info.
