Apple Patent Reveals A Touchscreen iMac Coming

A website called PatentlyApple has uncovered patents for a touchscreen iMac. The patent is a multi-touch interface for Apple’s all-in-one computer, including an orientation sensor. There’s been rumors of an OSX/iOS combination for a few months now.

Of course, this is a patent, so a finished product is suspect. Bloggers have commented that the screen size on the patent diagrams would make touchscreen operation exhausting, and that the Magic Trackpad makes more sense when it comes to the future of desktops.
