According to sources, Microsoft plans to officially announce its new mobile operating system Windows Phone 7 on October 11th. The announcement will be made at an event in New York City and the device will be given an official release date at the event later in the month.
The October 11 date does line up with the company line Microsoft has been saying: “in time for the holiday season.” More on this soon to come.
