VelEau transforms the CamelPak for the bike (video)

The Camelpak has achieved huge success amongst the running community, distributing the weight of water one carries with the ingenius invention of a small backpack that carries that water.  You drink said H2O through a tube mounted on the shoulder strap.  The downside?  If  it’s a hot day, your back will get very hot and the sweat won’t dissipate.

The VelEau is designed specifically for bicyclists and places a 42oz container at the rear of the bike, just below the seat, complete with storage for tools.  Tubing, much like the Camelpack, is routed along the frame to the handle bars where the rider can gain quick access to the spout.  Ths spout is held in place with a set of magnets, and a retractable tethering system allows the tube to move to your mouth, and automatically returns it to its place when you’re done swigging.

The VelEau is coming in July for an MSRP of around $79.99.
