After HTC’s launch of their One series and their subsequent mediocre sales numbers, the company is planning to significantly reduce the prices of its Android and Windows Phone devices. The plan will affect models already on the market as well as future products. HTC will also no longer integrate Beats Audio technology into the majority of its handsets. Once a top-of-the-list Android smartphone vendor, HTC has really taken a beating over the past year and has allowed its competition to regain the market.
