    Garmin VIRB HD

Garmin is now getting into the camera business with their VIRB HD action camera.  The 1080p camera features a built-in Chroma display and can film smarter and longer with its three-hour battery. Its best-in-class 2000mAh rechargeable Lithium-ion battery will provide you with a ton of recording time, and if you’re still moving, the power pack can easily be swapped out. It’s rugged and waterproof design allows you to take it anywhere, and if you’re rugged outdoors man, drops and scrapes won’t bother this beast.  Additionally, it can record in water for up to 30-minutes at a depth of 1 meter. You can choose to get an optional dive case that protects it up to 50 meters.

The 1.4″ Chroma high-res color screen will show you exactly what you’re filming and features easy set-up, preview and play back. The display actually uses the sun’s light and stays on while the camera is on, but it won’t drain your battery. The WideVu Lens will allow you to catch your action up close via a big-picture panoramic function. The 9-element glass lens shoots in three modes – wide, medium and narrow. And you can pair other Garmin products with the VIRB HD to record your heart rate, cadence and more.
