Ravensburger kNOW! Quiz Game with Google Assistant Review

Ravensburger has recently announced kNOW!, the first board game that is powered by the Google Assistant, meaning that you can play a multi-activity quiz game that is always evolving and up-to-date. Ravensburger kNOW uses Google Assistant to find answers to questions, which can change daily depending on many variables, like players’ location or time. There has never been such an up-to-date game, until now.

Users are able to ask questions that have never been possible to ask in a quiz game before, just by saying something like “Hey Google, how many days until Christmas?” or “Hey Google, how many episodes of “Midsomer Murders” are there?” …and then getting a simple answer from their Google Assistant. There are over 1,500 questions for players to compete with, meaning that players can ask their Google Assistant for the most up-to-date answers to see who wins! Inside the box, users will find 220 quiz cards, 1 electronic buzzer, 1 sorting strip, 6 playing pieces, and the Instructions Manual.

Ravensburger kNOW! has a lot more to offer. In case you love variety, the game features 10 unique mini-games within the game, and these different challenges have questions spread across 4 categories: Knowledge, Intuition, Creativity and Fun. Or, if you love surprises, Professor kNOW (kNOW!’s very own language assistant) drops new questions and topics “into the box” regularly, giving you tasks and solutions in 4 of the online games.

If you are one of those people who hate to read the rules, you’ll love kNOW!, since Google Assistant can take you through each game – just ask Professor kNOW for the rules and he will help you out, happily reading them to you. And lastly, assuming that your smartphone is out of battery, or you just don’t want to listen to Google Assistant through your smart home speaker, you can also play “offline”. There are hundreds of offline questions in the box so users can play as they like. The online play is suitable for 2-6 players, ages 16 and above and the offline play is for 3-6 players, ages 10 and above.

Ravensburger kNOW! is the always-current quiz game to get your friends together, making it ideal for gaming parties. It will soon be available in August in stores and on Ravensburger’s website. You can stay informed by visiting this page. Available for $24.99 exclusively at Walmart, beginning Aug. 1st. Press assets can be found Here.
