Daisy Rain Garden Systems Self-Watering Sprinkler Pots (3-Pot Kit w/ Timer)

While there are several different plants that can go a week or two without water, most species of plants still require to be watered on a regular basis (some daily and some every few days) so that they can thrive and ultimately survive. Now, if you’re someone who loves to have potted plants – like flowers, herbs or even smaller vegetables – set throughout the outside of your home but you don’t really have the time to water them regularly, then your best solution would be to get an automatic watering system (A.K.A. automatic irrigation system). These systems are designed to work as versatile irrigation units that integrate some sort of automated water-flow, and with them, you can ensure that your plants always receive their daily-watering needs and ultimately, an optimal level of care overall. Once programmed, an automatic watering system will then take care of all the watering-work for you, leaving you more time to focus on your daily-routine, whether that includes work-plans or leisure time. So, if you’re looking for a reliable automatic water system that can keep all of your potted plants watered properly and growing healthy, then have a look the Daisy Rain Sprinkler Pots by Daisy Rain Garden Systems.

The Daisy Rain Sprinkler Pots are all-in-one self-watering plant pots that come together with fully adjustable sprinkler heads which ensure every plant gets the amount of water it needs, along with easy-to-use hand-tightened fittings that let you daisy-chain as many as 25 pots together.

Unlike traditional self-watering planters, these self-watering plant pots do not come equipped with any sort of water-reservoir. That said, all that the Daisy Rain Sprinkler Pots require to work is to be connected to any standard garden hose or to any existing drip system.

Moreover, these 3-Pot Kits come with everything necessary for a tool-free assembly straight out of the box, so their setup / installation process is a piece of cake. Not only do they work fine alone, but they can also be set-up together with any hose end timer, for which this kit that we’ll be reviewing here also conveniently comes with one (i.e. a hose timer).

Thanks to their clever design, these self-watering plant pots can ultimately be installed in pretty much any configuration that you can think of, and they also support sub-soil soaking for roses, shrubs, or anything else that you want planted in the center of these plant pots.

Now, let’s have a more detailed look at the Daisy Rain Sprinkler Pots and check out exactly how this self-watering plant pots are designed to work.

    DESIGN & BASIC SPECS

Starting with the kit’s main units, we have a set of three (x3) Daisy Rain Sprinkler Pots, for which each plant pot features a total capacity of 7 gallons, which make each of these self-watering plant pots large enough to grow any plant to full maturity, no matter if you’re looking to grow flowers, herbs or vegetables in them.

Furthermore, the Daisy Rain Sprinkler Pots also feature a very durable construction, as these self-watering plant pots are built to be completely UV-resistant.

    INCLUDED ACCESSORIES

Moving on to the few different components (meaning the kit’s several included accessories) that make these self-watering plant pots so special.

    Package Contents

First and foremost, each kit comes with three (x3) Fully Adjustable Sprinkler Heads and three (x3) Risers, with each sprinkler-set (i.e. a sprinkler head attached together with a riser) being meant to be integrated within each Daisy Rain Sprinkler Pot.

3 sets of Fully Adjustable Sprinkler Heads and Risers (one set for each plant pot)

After integrating an Adjustable Sprinkler Head and a Riser into each pot, the kit’s Fully Adjustable Sprinkler Heads work flawlessly, ultimately ensuring that every plant gets the appropriate amount of water it needs.

Not only that, but the kit also includes a 25-ft. Macro-Drip Hose made of of 1/2” Polyethylene tubing (0.570 ID, 0.670 OD) that comes equipped with a 25-pound PSI Pressure Regulator (which features a Flow Rate of 10 GPM) on one end, and a 3/4-inches Threaded End Cap on its other end.

    25-ft. Macro-Drip Hose

Note that the kit’s 25-ft. Macro-Drip Hose is designed to be garden-hose-ready, meaning that you can easily connect it to any standard garden hose.

The kit’s 25-ft. Macro-Drip Hose can also be easily cut to desired lengths before it is attached to each of the kit’s Daisy Rain Sprinkler Pots via the kit’s hand-tightened fittings.

Speaking of which, note that the kit’s self-watering flowerpots are also connectable, as the kit also comes with multiple sets of hand-tightened fittings (including 2 tee fittings, 3 coupler fittings, and 4 elbow fittings), which can all be easily connected into each Daisy Rain Sprinkler Pots.

Additionally, these different sets of hand-tightened fittings can also be connected throughout the multiple cuts you make into the kit’s 25-ft. Macro-Drip Hose by using the kit’s included six (x6) sets of figure-8 hose ends.

Thanks to the many different sets of hand-tightened fittings that the kit comes with, you can ultimately make a ton of different “configurations” for these self-watering plant pots (meaning the kit’s 3 Daisy Rain Sprinkler Pots).

In fact, these hand-tightened fitting accessories ultimately allow users to daisy-chain (i.e. link together) up to 25 Daisy Rain Sprinkler Pots at a time, which ultimately ensures that all of their plants share the same water source.

Best, the kit also comes with a Agrifim Automatic Hose End Timer that ultimately allows this self-watering plant pot sprinkler system to have its irrigation / watering to be fully automated.

Last but not least, note that each kit also comes together with an included Hole Punch Tool that can be used for convert these self-watering plant pots to subsoil soakers.

    SETUP / INSTALLATION

Now, when it comes to the system’s installation, it’s also worth noting that the kit comes together with all the Hardware-Irrigation Parts necessary for a completely tool-free assembly. On that note, know that the kit’s entire setup / installation process is quite easy and very straightforward.

The first step is to place the kit’s 3 Daisy Rain Sprinkler Pots upside down in their desired locations, and then lay out the kit’s included 25-ft. Macro-Drip Hose starting from your water and along with plant pot.

Note that the first Sprinkler Pot will have to be connected to your garden hose. Once again, this can be standard garden hose.

After that, it’s just a matter of cutting along the hose and assembling the Adjustable Sprinkler Heads and Rinsers so that the water from your water-source can go through each Daisy Rain Sprinkler Pot.

Then, you simply have to install the kit’s hose assembly into each Sprinkler Pot, then connect each pot to the kit’s 25-ft. Macro-Drip Hose (with the different attachments already integrated in their respective ends, of course) so that all pots are connected together to the system’s single water-source (which starts from the first pot).

Finally, all there’s left to do is to clean up the entire setup / configuration by simply cleaning out any debris from the system’s already-set-up water-source (along its 25-ft. Macro-Drip Hose and along your garden hose).
