    HeadOffice recently attended the South by Southwest (SXSW) 2023 festival, in Austin, Texas, during which they were part of the SXSW EDU “The Future of Play in The Metaverse” panel on March 12, 2023, which included several representatives from industry leaders in the Metaverse, including HeadOffice’s Co-founder and CEO, Marco Carvalho, along with Jenna Seiden from Niantic, Inc., Valerie Vacante from Dentsu, and Jonathan Vlassopulos from Napster.

    During their stay at the SXSW 2023 festival, HeadOffice’s innovative cloud-based Metaverse OS, hOS, was selected as a finalist for the SXSW Innovation Award Pitch Competition in the “Convergent Gaming” category. In addition to that, the company was also selected as a finalist in the “Metaverse and WEB3” category for the 2023 SXSW Pitch Competition.
