    Kohjinsha DZ Dual-Display Netbook Slotted for December

    Kohjinsha’s 10.1” dual display netbook, spotted in October at CEATEC 2009, will finally see the light of day! It will go on sale in Japan, branded as the Kohjinsha DZ, next month in December on the 11th priced at 79,800 yen ($921 – chop a few hundred off for a US price).

    Kohjinsha DZ Dual Display NetbookThe Kohjinsha DZ will feature two 10.1” 1024×600 displays that fold out vertically giving a total resolution of 2048 x 600 pixels.

    The specs: AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 (1.6GHz) processor, AMD RS780MN chipset + ATI Radeon HD 3200 integrated graphics, 1GB RAM (4GB max), 160GB HDD. Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit. Fingerprint scanner resides on the right screen bezel area. Weighs pretty heavy for a netbook at 1.84kg. Battery life rated at 4 hours.
