    Sanyo Air Washer Plus

Sanyo Air Washer Plus Home-Use Air Purification SystemSanyo recently announced a home-use air purification system for the most acute of alergy sufferer. It’s called the Air Washer Plus, and it is being touted as the first of its kind in the United States, the Air Washer Plus is designed to use electrolyzed water technology to suppress bacteria and germs, reduce the amount of airborne pollen and allergy-causing dust, and eliminate unpleasant odors in the home.

The system’s electrolyzed water technology is designed to work in tandem with a high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter, which removes 99.97% of particles 0.3 micrometers (µm) in diameter from the air. The technology operates by creating electrolyzed water, or combining tap water with electricity, to create two types of active oxygen that work to clean without the requirement for any additional chemicals.

Other than its use in air treatment, Sanyo’s Air Washer Plus’s electrolyzed water has also been used effectively in other industries such as food safety handling, washing raw materials, and cleaning utensils.

Another feature of the Sanyo Air Washer Plus is the 3-directional air distribution system. This helps to maximize the flow of air and is designed to help clean all areas of the room. The unit has several outputs to help distribute the air in various streams to cover the room.

The Air Washer Plus is portable, allowing a user to move the cleaning system from room to room. The suggested retail price is US$249.99 (http://us.sanyo.com).
