Apple has successfully moved a mind-boggling 1.7 million units of the new iPhone 4 in just three days after its launch on June 24.  Sure, there have been some glitches, such as the yellow areas on screens, poor antenna design and an overly fragile shell, but despite that, iPhone 4 has not let Apple’s sales department down.

“This is the most successful product launch in Apple’s history,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “Even so, we apologize to those customers who were turned away because we did not have enough supply.”

With over 50 million iPhone and other mobile Apple products integrated in the consumer world, and the fact that when Apple launches a product, it’s covers the tech world newsline, Android, RIM and Palm/WeboS will find it increasingly hard to tap into this loyal and inticing market.
