    VitalWrap review

So I’ve got this bruise on my knee I received from a swift soccer kick from the son, and it hurts like a son of a b___ .  What do I do to make this debilitating, and I might add, ugly, ugly thing go away?

    Star Rating:
    Cost: $249.99
    Where to buy: VitalWear

Enter the VitalWrap,  (part of the VitalWear line), an innovative device that gives you hot or cold treatments to target areas such as the knees and arms.  Available are tailored wraps that can go really anywhere on the body.  Specifically, VitalWear makes a wrist, back, full knee and shoulder pad, sold separately.

This system is made up of two parts: the reservoir that holds water that can be cooled to as low as 40-degrees or warmed up to 105-degrees; and the wrap which attaches to the reservoir by tubing. The VitalWrap system can be started in three simple steps:
    1. Fill the portable, leak-proof reservoir with ice and water.
    2. Place the bladder portion of the wrap around the treatment area and secure it with the Velcro™ closure.
    3. Attach the wrap to the control unit using the tubing set.

Once the VitalWrap system is turned on, water passes through the tubing into the pad and is circulated back into the reservoir to be cooled or heated again. The control unit housing the reservoir is the part that heats or cools the wraps, and subsequently, the body part. The pad also helps provide compression during the heating and cooling.

So I tried this baby out.  I noticed that the cold setting helps the aches and pains one might harbor, while the heat is more for the muscle soreness and general joint stiffness.  Additionally, VitalWrap is extremely portable and convenient, and it can fit small children as well as large adults.

The VitalWrap system retails for $249.99, but you can get it cheaper online with a simple search.
