Oral-B believes toothbrushes can take advantage of technology too, and they’ve launched their SmartSeries toothbrush that connects to a special app on your phone via Bluetooth. The reason for the connectivity is that Oral-B wants you accountable for how long and how often you’re brushing.
The new interactive electric toothbrush with Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity and its app will change the way your brush your teeth, making your next dentist trip a lot more pleasant. Additionally, you can share your brushing history with your dentist so that they can help analyze if they do find any problems.
Not only will the SmartSeries track just how long you brush for, but you can also personalize your routine with custom timers and daily reminders for flossing, dining and tongue cleaning. It’ll also alert you if you’re putting too much pressure on your teeth and gums, as well as when you should move on to a different area in your mouth.
