    DESIGN & SPECS

Starting with the watch’s case, the BALL Watch Engineer HydroCarbon Original is a 40mm Swiss-Made Diving Watch, and as such, it includes a 40mm Stainless-Steel Case that measures exactly 14.55mm in diameter. Overall, this adventuring diving watch is reasonably lightweight, as it only weighs 4.9 oz (140 g).

Right at the top, we can find its Uni-Directional Rotating Sapphire Bezel, which adds a very nice luxurious touch to the watch’s very-minimalist design.

The same goes for the watch’s Black Dial, which also features a very gorgeous design, coming equipped with a patented Crown Protection System that is designed to keep all of its internal components protected from any sort of damage (unexpected falls, bumps, etc.). That’s one of the main features that makes this extreme adventuring diving watch a highly-durable wristwatch for outdoors use.

The watch’s Stainless-Steel Case combines a Mu-Metal Shield together with an Amortiser patented Anti-Shock System that make its case ultra-durable, which also give it exactly 7,500Gs of Shock Resistance, a value 80,000A/m for anti-magnetism and up to 660 ft. (200 m) of water resistance.

While its case’s patented SpringSEAL system safeguards the regulator assembly and ensures that the watch’s crowns do not change position upon impact, its patented SpringLOCK system covers the hairspring while also limiting the unfurling of the coils in order to prevent twisting upon impact. The watch’s exacting precision is safeguarded further by its Amortiser patented Anti-Shock System, which surrounds your movement and absorbs any potential harsh bumps and thumps when exploring the outdoors and enjoying Mother Nature.

On the opposite side of the watch, we can also find a very cool carved logo of a professional diver, which definitely adds some extra luxurious touch to the watch’s main purpose and overall design, reflecting the fact that it’s meant to be used as an extreme adventuring diving watch.

Additionally, just like the watch’s case, its bracelet is a Tapered Stainless-Steel Bracelet, which integrates both a patented Folding Buckle that can withstand up to 1,400 newtons of force and an Adjustable Extension System. The watch’s Tapered Stainless-Steel Bracelet features a very highly-durability, but despite that, it’s still quite comfortable to wear, so you don’t really have to worry about it hurting your wrist, even after long hours of wearing the Engineer HydroCarbon Original.

The watch’s Stainless-Steel Bracelet comes perfectly built-in right into its lugs – meaning the projections on the watch’s case that are used to secure its bracelet onto the watch’s case – so you also don’t have to worry about it snapping off. The watch’s lugs feature a width of 20 mm each, with a distance of just 51.1mm from one lug to another.

Moreover, this Extreme Adventuring Diving Watch also integrates 30 micro gas tubes on its highly visible hour, minute, and second watch hands, as well as under its dial and bezel, which basically help the watch to provide its users with a decent illumination for the best night reading capability, all without requiring any external light source.

Furthermore, it’s also important to note that the watch’s bezel also integrates an Anti-Reflective Convex Sapphire Crystal that makes reading from it fairly easy, and that goes both for direct sunlight conditions (broad daylight with a strong sunlight) or pitch-black conditions (for very dark nights where even the moon is absent).

Overall, all that makes this watch 100 times brighter than any wristwatches that use luminous paint.

    NOTABLE FEATURES

    Time & Date

    Ultra-Accurate Chronometer

Other than that, the Engineer HydroCarbon Original also comes equipped with an ultra-accurate Automatic Calibre BALL RR1102-CSL Chronometer that comes certified by the COSC – meaning the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute.
