    The TomTom Runner Cardio is a fitness wearable and the newest GPS-enabled device from the company. It’s a sporty wearable with full GPS turn-by-turn navigation, designed to keep runners apprised of how their body is responding to various exercise.

    Heartrate is measured through a sensor embedded in the watch…no cheststrap needed. It monitors blood flow in user’s wrist with light that shines through the skin to detect various light reflections. It boast enhanced accuracy over convention monitoring methods. You can set five intensity zone to fit your fitness goals – Sprint, Speed, Endure, Fat Burn and Easy for slower tempo used to either warm up or cool down.

    The TomTom Runner uses GPS + GLOSNASS and QuickGPSFix for location-based position.  View in real-time, information like past performance, distance traveled, pace, time and goals for calories. Lap and interval training is also viewable on the large 144×168 resolution display. Monitoring includes activities such as outdoor cycling, indoor running and swimming. Finally, share your analyzed fitness stats on other running sites and or across other apps with versatile compatibility.
