Yuneec Mantis Q Drone Has Voice Control

Yuneec has launched US pre-orders for the Mantis Q, a powerful drone with a reasonable $500 price tag. You’ll get technology that would normally be found in higher-end drone models, including 4K video recording, infrared- and sonar-based indoor stabilization, voice control, face detection and foldable arms that make it super portable. You’ll also get a drone that’s capable of reaching speeds of 44 MPH and a lengthy 33-minute flying time.

The Yuneec Mantis Q measures 6.6 inches long and weighs just over a pound. It also has a vertical-only camera gimbal, perfect for aerial selfies and vacation shots.

Yuneec hasn’t said when the Mantis Q will ship, but it will come in an X-Pack $650 bundle, which will give you two extra batteries and a shoulder bag when it arrives later in 2018. The Yuneec Mantis Q is the quintessential starter drone, with a great price tag, and some nice tech onboard.
