Echelon FitNation Flex Bike Ultra – All-In-One Workout Cycling System

For any fitness enthusiast that’s looking to for a reliable way of getting in shape and/or staying fit while working from home, purchasing a All-in-One Home Workout System would be your best solution. Ultimately, All-in-One Home Workout Systems incorporate many different workout systems (like Cardio Machines and Core Training Systems, Resistance Training Systems, and Strength Training Machines) all into one single multi-function fitness machine that can more easily fit within a small space. Thanks to that, instead of having you buying and placing multiple one-purpose machines that would completely fill up an entire room, you can save up tons of room space and have a single workout machine that does it all. That’s exactly what the Echelon FitNation Flex Bike Ultra aims to do, as it provides you with an in-home, full gym experience.

The Echelon FitNation Flex Bike Ultra is an all-in-one workout cycling system that allows you to perform both upper and lower body workouts while you cycle.

Basically, this all-in-one workout cycling exercise bike features multiple levels of adjustable magnetic resistance that ensure you can challenge yourself and work harder on your lower body, while also coming equipped with built-in resistance bands that allow you to work on your upper body at the same time.

Additionally, the bike also integrates an LCD display that features six different tracking functions that you can conveniently use to track your progress, and those include speed, time, distance, scan, calories, and pulse.

Lastly, since this all-in-one workout cycling system can also be folded for easy storage, as soon as you’re done working out, you can simply fold it up and push it away with absolutely no effort thanks to its built-in wheels, and then just store it into a corner of the room, a closet or inside your garage.

Now, without further ado, let’s have a more detailed look at it and see everything that comes with this awesome all-in-one workout cycling system.

    DESIGN & SPECS

Starting with the FitNation Flex Bike Ultra’s exact size, this all-in-one workout cycling system measures 42.5 inches long by 21.1 inches wide by 41 inches tall when unfolded. This all-in-one cycling system is also extremely lightweight, as the bike only weighs a measly 39 lbs. and 14 oz.

As mentioned earlier,  this all-in-one workout cycling system also features a simple Fold-Up design, so the bike can also be easily folded inwards by pushing its two diagonal halves together in order to have it occupy less space for storage.

When folding up both of its halves together, the bike only measures 17 inches long by 21.1 inches wide by 54 inches tall. Additionally, its built-in wheels make it easy for you to transport the bike around the room and into your choice of storage space (or corner) after folding it up.

When it comes to the FitNation Flex Bike Ultra’s body, this all-in-one workout bike features a heavy-duty steel frame construction, which means that this all-in-one home workout system features a very solid and ultra-durable construction. Not only that, but the Flex Bike Ultra can withstand up to 300 lbs. of total weight, so even larger and/or heavier users can enjoy it with no concerns whatsoever.

I’d like to point out that this bike comes equipped with a 3-inches thick adjustable padded-cushion seat that can also have its high adjusted up to around 29 inches. Not only that, but as a matter of fact, this might have actually been one of the most comfortable seats for a stationary and all-in-one home bike system that I’ve ever sat on.

Furthermore, I’d also like to note that from the seat to the closest pedal you have around 25 inches. Not only that, but because of the way that this bike is built, you really don’t have to worry about hurting yourself on any part of your legs while pedaling, as you can be guaranteed that your knees will never hit any part of the bike.

Now, starting from the top and front side of the bike, we have its first main feature, which is its built-in LCD display. The bike’s  LCD display features a very simple design, which should make it very intuitive for users to use it. I’d also like to note that the bike’s LCD display will only take you 2 AA batteries as its source of power.

As stated earlier, you’re offered six different tracking functions that allow you to conveniently track your progress, including a detailed report of your speed stats, time spent working out, distance traveled, a scan-function, estimated calories burnt, and pulse-count. Specifically for its pulse-count functionality, users have the bike’s fixed handlebars, which have small built-in pulse-trackers right at their hand-gripping spots.

I should also mention that the LCD’s text-font for its numerical and text values is literally huge, which is a great thing, especially for people that need glasses to read. Thanks to that, you can conveniently work out without ever having to wear your glasses.

Furthermore, you also have built-in upper-body resistance bands that are integrated with memory foam hand-grips, and these can be conveniently used to perform an upper body workout while you simultaneously cycle by using the bike’s built-in pedals (more on those at the end).

Going just slightly lower, right under the bike’s built-in LCD display, we have a small Magnetic Resistance Adjustment Dial that can be conveniently used to adjust the bike’s multiple levels of magnetic resistance for its built-in upper-body resistance bands.

Going even further down, we have the bike’s Folding and Unfolding Lock Mechanism and, which can be conveniently used to adjust the bike’s position to a more open stance or a more closed and more elevated stance, or ultimately, to completely fold it and store it away.

Thanks to that, you can quickly change this all-in-one workout cycling system to work either as an upright workout bike system (for having the rider in a more traditional and more upright cycling stance) or as a recumbent workout bike system (for placing the rider in a laid-back reclining position).

Keep in mind that beginners should start using this bike system as a recumbent workout bike, as its obviously easier on your body to have it on a lounge-and-laid-back position in order to have your weight better distributed over a larger squared-foot area than on a smaller area (which would be having the bike set as a upright bike system).

Contrarily to that, having the Flex Bike Ultra set up as a upright workout bike system will be harder and tougher on your body, and that should be done after you get accustomed to the bike’s easiest workout position (which would be having it set up as a recumbent workout bike).

There’s one other very important thing to note here, and that’s the fact that this bike’s cycling system is extremely quiet. Like literally whisper-quiet, no matter if you have it set up on a recumbent or on a upright workout position. So that’s also a big plus, especially for people that are living together with a loved one or several family members.

This Folding and Unfolding Lock Mechanism can be very easily used by simply rotating it around to loosen it up and then pulling it to lock a specific bike position into place.

Lastly, together with the bike’s Whisper-Quiet Magnetic Pedaling System (which we already discussed) while also have its unique nonskid foot pedals, which are specifically designed to offer you a great grip for your shoes so that they never slide away from the bike’s pedals while you’re focused on cycling.

Additionally, the bike’s foot pedals also come equipped with adjustable safety straps that can provide you with a safer and more reliable foot placement, no matter what cycling position you choose to have the bike setup at.

SET UP / INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE TIPS

For setting up your FitNation Flex Bike Ultra, while some assembly is actually required, the bike is still very simple to put together. Coming together with the bike itself inside the box, you’re also offered a set of tools that can be used for the bike’s assembly.

I’d also like remind you that after every workout, before folding and packing away the bike, you should always remember to spot the bike’s padded-cushion seat clean with a slightly damp cloth. That’s really all it takes to keep the bike properly taken care of. That, and obviously, also replacing its LCD’s 2 AA batteries when its required.

And that’s pretty much all there is to it.

    FINAL THOUGHTS

The Echelon FitNation Flex Bike Ultra is an all-in-one workout cycling system that allows you to perform both upper and lower body workouts while you cycle.

This all-in-one workout cycling exercise bike features multiple levels of adjustable magnetic resistance for working out on your lower body with different resistance levels as well as built-in resistance bands that allow you to work on your upper body at the same time. Additionally, the bike’s integrated LCD display features six different tracking functions for tracking your progress, including speed, time, distance, scan, calories, and pulse.

Lastly, the system’s foldable design makes it very easy to adjust to your preferred workout position (recumbent or upright) as well as to easily store the bike away whenever you’re not using it.

Overall, this is a very solid all-in-one home workout cycling system that I’d absolutely recommend for everyone that needs a reliable workout machine for their home. Not only is this a great workout system to have around at home during the entire year, but its specially a powerful fitness tool for times like these where the COVID-19 worldwide pandemic still has a ton of families confined and isolated from the world (and their favorite gyms) while working from home.

If you’re interested in buying it, each unit is currently discount from its original price of $299.99, now going for just $219.99 (saves you $80). You can order yours online right now, directly from FitNation’s official shopping page, which you can access by clicking this link.
