    Panasonic beefs up their land-line offerings with the KX-TG9470 & KX-TG6670 series

    KX-TG9471B, KX-TG9472B, KX-TG6671B and KX-TG6672B models

    Panasonic just introduced some new gadgets, their KX-TG9470 line, a series of multi-line answering systems with a Contact Sync feature that lets your phone work interchangeably with Microsoft Outlook.

    The line is comprised of a one corded and one ([amazon_link id=”B005FVDWJA” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]KX-TG9471B[/amazon_link]) or two ([amazon_link id=”B005FVDXC6″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]KX-TG9472B[/amazon_link]) cordless handsets.  The Contact Sync feature allows you to connect the phone to a PC, so when a call comes in, it triggers a pop-up contact in Microsoft Outlook, making all your info of that contact available right in front of you.  Contact Sync also lets you make outgoing calls directly from your PC.

    Panasonic also just introduced the KX-TG6670 series, which is a single line phone series with DECT 6.0 Plus Technology.  The models also include Intelligent Eco Mode, which automatically lowers power consumption when the handset is being used close to the base unit.  Other features include Boost technology, Power Back-Up Operation on the base unit, Talking Caller ID and Tone Equalizer, which lets you control the bass, mid-range or treble tones for enhanced call quality.

    PANASONIC UNVEILS NEW CONSUMER TELEPHONES WITH EXCLUSIVE
    CONTACT SYNCING FEATURES

    New Technology Exclusive to Panasonic Phone Systems Allow for
    Enhanced Phone Communication

    Secaucus, NJ (September 15, 2011) – Panasonic System Networks Company of America today announced the KX-TG9470 series multi-line answering system with an exclusive Contact Sync feature that allows for interoperability with Microsoft Outlook. Also announced today was the KX-TG6670 series single line phone with digital answering system, which offers new exclusive features designed to enhance a consumer’s communication experience.

    The new KX-TG9740 series is a multi-line answering system that includes one corded and one (KX-TG9471B) or two (KX-TG9472B) cordless handsets. Contact Sync, a feature exclusive to Panasonic KX-TG9470 series, lets users connect the phone to a PC allowing for incoming calls to trigger a pop-up contact in Microsoft Outlook, making caller information and notes from previous conversations available at users’ fingertips. This unique feature also offers users the ability to make outgoing calls directly from their computer by clicking on a contact name in the Outlook address book.

    Additional key phone features include a large white backlit LCD on the base unit which allows users to easily see who is calling at a quick glance and Call Block which gives users the ability to store unwanted callers’ numbers into the caller ID’s Call Block list to eliminate future pesky phone calls. A Two-Line operation function is perfect for small business or home office, allowing two conversations to be held at once on separate lines using the corded and cordless handsets.

Intelligent Eco Mode automatically lowers power consumption when the handset is being used close to the base unit, extending the available talk time and prolonging battery life. The exclusive Range Boost technology extends transmission range by up to 20% compared to previous generation phones.
